NDCFS participated in walks for Domestic Violence and Disability Awareness in Window Rock, Arizona.

The Navajo Treatment Center for Children and Their Families (NTCCF) is sharing the following teaching in honor of World Mental Health Day.
DFS, under the NDCFS, hosted a Family Violence Conference in Crownpoint, NM.
NDCFS programs greeted the public and provided community outreach on the first day of the 112th Northern Navajo Fair in Shiprock, NM.
NDCFS is not impacted by the federal government shutdown. The division has enough funds to continue operating in the new fiscal year. All our programs remain open.
At the DAP quarterly gathering, epidemiologists with the Navajo Epidemiology Center (NEC), who are a part of the DAP Data Workgroup, demonstrated the NEC’s online dashboard which reports data from all clinics on the Navajo Nation on hospitalization and emergency room rates.
NDCFS and the Navajo Nation Veterans Administration (NNVA) hosted the first in a series of ribbon skirt and medicine bag making workshops as a wellness activity for Navajo veterans.
NDCFS took a momentous step forward in providing appropriate compensation for its federally funded employees.
